The Coworkers of Christ
We are an emergent, ecumenical community rooted in the Free Catholic tradition and shaped by a generous orthodoxy. Inspired by Celtic Christianity, the Catholic Worker Movement, Red Letter Christians, and the New Monasticism, the Sacramental Community of the Coworkers of Christ stands as a distinct branch of the Independent Sacramental Movement. Grounded in Scripture and the spirit of the first seven Ecumenical Councils, we seek to live and share this Free Catholic faith through a blend of new monasticism and community-based congregational life, as expressed in The Common Rule: The Rule, Covenants & General Statutes.
